the Lucy - Classic Deacon Stole
the Lucy - Classic Deacon Stole
Named for St. Lucy, the patron saint of stained glass workers, authors, and the blind. St. Lucy is known as a bearer of light in dark places. The Lucy is made with eleven shades of green Kona cotton on a white Kona cotton base, embroidered with gold thread. It is a beautiful stole for ordinary time -- a reminder of light and beauty even in the most ordinary moments.
The Classic Deacon Stole is a beautifully cut stole that is 3” wide at the top and has ends that taper slightly to 4” wide. It sits smoothly on the shoulder and conforms easily to any shoulder size.
(A note from Andrea: Kindly note, I have not yet made this design in a Classic Deacon Cut, and therefore do not have pictures of one. Hopefully you can get an idea of what it would look like with the photos provided. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.)
