the Brigid - Classic Deacon Stole
the Brigid - Classic Deacon Stole
Named for St. Brigid of Ireland, patron saint of scholars and healers. The Brigid is made with three tones of luxurious dupioni silk: rich ruby red as the main fabric, vibrant red cut in with a vertical fabric grain, and a rose-gold cross embroidered with gold thread. The Brigid is a beautiful bridge stole linking the scholarly work of the past to the healing work of the future.
The Classic Deacon Stole is a beautifully cut stole that is 3” wide at the top and has ends that taper slightly to 4” wide. It sits smoothly on the shoulder and conforms easily to any shoulder size.
(Kindly note: I do not have a physical Brigid Classic Deacon Stole to show yet, but please refer to the drawing to see what the design would look like. This is a re-imagined design based on the Priest Stole version of the Brigid.)
