the Alphonsus - Classic Deacon Stole
the Alphonsus - Classic Deacon Stole
Named for St. Alphonsus Liguori, the patron saint of confessors. The Alphonsus is made with eleven shades of purple Kona cotton on a Soft Silver Kona cotton base, embroidered with silver thread. It is a beautiful stole for Lent -- a reminder of the beauty to be found even in a time of repentance and solemnity.
The Classic Deacon Stole is a beautifully cut stole that is 3” wide at the top and has ends that taper slightly to 4” wide. It sits smoothly on the shoulder and conforms easily to any shoulder size.
(A note from Andrea: Kindly note, I have not yet made this design in a Classic Deacon Cut, and therefore do not have pictures of one. Hopefully you can get an idea of what it would look like with the photos provided. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.)
